My most recent visit to Margate was my favourite yet. Not only did I finally see Metronomy (in my home town no less), everywhere I looked was a touch of magic – the whole town thriving with creativity and really shining as a community. For the first time in ages, I felt so much joy to simply be back home and that is all thanks to By The Sea.

Music Diary || No.4

Wow, what a busy few weeks I’ve had! Well, vaguely busy with a lack of motivation thrown in for good measure, BUT, rest assured I have still been listening to a load of new music. By The Sea – Dreamland, Margate || Live Review

Last year saw Margate’s newly re-opened amusement park, Dreamland, host Hot Chip and Foals as headliners for the first ever By The Sea Festival. The seaside town put on two nights of shows, with its success sparking interest for another show in 2016. Headliners this year included Wild Beasts andSuper Furry Animals on Friday, with Bat For Lashes and Wolf Alice on Saturday.
