Meadowlark – Nocturnes || VH Album Review

Following my review of Leif Vollebekk’s latest album, Stay Loose PR asked me to check out another band on their roster. This time it was Bristol based duo Meadowlark with their latest EP, Nocturnes. I think it’s safe to say I was hooked immediately.

The aim with Nocturnes was to produce alternate versions of the band’s previously released singles, with their own take on a pop classic thrown in for good measure. Meadowlark went into the studio and recorded the EP with a string quartet, dramatically changing the tone of their tracks. I absolutely loved it and you can find out why here: http://vulturehound.co.uk/2017/03/meadowlark-nocturnes-ep-review/

Nocturnes is out now via Believe Recordings.
