Ry X @ O2 Shepherds Bush Empire || VH Live Review

Oh lord, oh my giddy aunt, Ry X, you enchanting soul. I’ve been into Ry X’s music for a little while now, however in the last year or so I may have neglected him a little. This was until I found out there was an opportunity to get guest list through Vulture Hound for his recent UK tour. I just had to go to his show at Shepherds Bush.

I put money aside for a day out in London, and even though I had the option for a plus one, no one close to me was available, or knew who he was and I just ended up wanting to enjoy the night for myself. I psyched myself up for a day out in London on my own with the opportunity to just wonder around aimlessly at my own pace. By the time it came around to the gig though, I was a little deflated and anxious about getting back to Southampton later on. Part of me just wanted to leave right there and then. Thank goodness I stayed.

Ry X had been on the stage for barely five minutes and I was basically in tears. Hearing his vocals buzz through the venue made for a stunning performance that was just sheer perfection.

My full review is up on the Vulture Hound site now, so go check it out.

Ry X swept me off my feet and reignited my love for his music. I can’t pick a favourite song, but I’ve been watching this video of his full set in France and it just warms my heart so much!
